They Mostly Come Out At Night, Mostly is a mixtape of some of my new favorites, and some of my old, all-time favorites. Above is the albums artwork, if you wanna download and paste to all the songs in your iTunes. Below is the tracklist, if you desire to put it in order, but it not, mix it up! I don’t judge.

Bonafied Lovin’ by Chromeo

This is the first song I heard by Montreal’s electropop band, Chromeo. I instantly loved their music, and have to thank my room mate, Duncan, for introducing me. In this video, “P-Thugg” and “Dave 1″ dance and groove to the beats in some familiar scenery reminiscent of Weird Al’s “Money For Nothing/Beverly Hillbilly’s” music video from his movie, UHF. If you don’t dance to this song, own up so I can kick your knee caps when I see you.

My Kitchen Nightmares Kick

Kitchen Nightmares is definitely one of my favorite shows, and it’s the most recent TV “kick” that I’ve been on. There’s hardly anything I’d rather do when I get home than crack open a couple beers and watch Gordon Ramsay tear into some lazy restaurant fuckers. If I’m honest, I feel awful for the people who chose to open said eateries, because I’ve had some experience in food service and can’t begin to imagine what it’s like to have my livelihood invested in the business–but this series is entertainment in one of its finest fashions to me.

The show started back in 2007 and has 3 complete seasons and a fourth on its way. A typical episode spotlights local dining that is down in the dregs and needs rescue. Watch Gordon Ramsay cut to the heart of these businesses with brutal honesty and expert advice to bring arrogant owners and stuck up chefs down from their high horses and back to earth where you and I live.

I personally love Chef Ramsay’s style–it reminds me a lot of boot camp. If you’ve never seen his most popular show, Hell’s Kitchen, you should definitely give both a watch, and perhaps you’ll understand the madness.

Kings Of Leon – “Pyro”

Check out this video for one of Kings of Leon’s newest singles, “Pyro”. They’re too mainstream for my hipster ass since the recent Grammy, but fuck it, they’re a totally legit band, and I LOVED this song. Just saw it on VH1–who knew they still showed music videos? But it’s late at night. Anyways, this song is a little more indie/folky than some of the previous stuff, and that’s probably one of the main things I like about it, but you can also feel that it’s a very emotional song. That’s the most powerful thing about Kings of Leon, in my mind–they PREACH their feelings! Good job, KOL, keep it up. Expect me to buy that new record.

Dreamin’ about a Caddy

Had a dream that I bought a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. It was a cool dream, and I felt ballin’, but I would never buy a Caddy, much less spend $63,000+ on any vehicle that isn’t a Porsche 911. Cool story, right?

Picturing in the Dunes

I think this weekend I’m gonna drive until I see some sand dunes. Then I wanna do some B&W shots. Who’s with me? I need a subject anyways.
